Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state Occupational Therapy licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to independently manage a varied caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students, focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Attend IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and recommendations
  • Share strategies and techniques with staff and families to support student growth outside therapy sessions
