Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan
  • Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and educational documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

In This Role, You Will:

  • Evaluate students motor, sensory, emotional, and adaptive needs in the school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize student success
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to create a supportive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Consult and provide training resources for school staff as needed
