Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Michigan OT license (required)
  • Previous experience working in school settings is a plus, but not mandatory

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and support staff
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver therapy sessions to address fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and participation in classroom activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education teams to integrate OT recommendations into students daily routines
  • Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain compliant documentation
  • Foster an inclusive environment that empowers students to achieve academic and personal goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
