A contracted, part-time opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist ready to collaborate with passionate educators and support students across various age groups at a single school site. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid MI Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students with a range of disabilities
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, attend meetings, and participate in IEP development
- Deliver therapy interventions during school hours (FT, up to 6.5 hours weekly; hours still being confirmed)
- Serve as a resource regarding OT strategies for school staff and families
- Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines for therapy services
