Put your expertise to work supporting students across all grade levels in a vibrant and engaged school district near Springfield, VT. This district-wide contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference as you deliver occupational therapy services across four school buildings, providing support to K-12 students.
Youll work full-time (35-37.5 hours per week) as an integral member of a collaborative team for the duration of the academic year, from late August to mid-June. Each day brings new opportunities to foster student growth, develop individualized plans, and engage creatively with both students and staff.
Requirements & Desired Experience:
- Current Vermont OT Certificate is required
- Experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy for diverse learners
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Talent for supporting students educational and functional goals
- Commitment to delivering services consistent with IEPs and district policies
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to K-12 students at multiple schools within the district
- Conduct assessments and craft intervention plans to address individual student needs
- Consult with teachers, families, and specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Build supportive relationships with students, parents, and staff
