Qualifications & Experience
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process and therapy documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate students functional abilities and needs within the educational environment
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans to support academic and social growth
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records, write progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultative services to staff for integrating therapy goals into classroom activities
