A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy to provide essential services in educational settings. This travel position is based in Springdale, AR, and involves working with students to support their developmental and functional needs within schools.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Delivering therapeutic interventions to help students improve motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement and adapt therapy plans
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Providing consultation and recommendations to support classroom accommodations
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license
