Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience or strong interest in working with school-age children.
• Preferred: Prior experience in school-based settings.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage caseloads and adapt interventions for various developmental ages.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess students needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high schools.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate records, evaluation reports, and progress notes in a timely manner.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered goals.
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Educate school communities on the importance of occupational therapy and its role in student success.
