Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials
  • Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills to partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and compliance efficiently
  • Willingness to engage in both direct therapy and consultation as required by student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students, addressing motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with school staff and families
  • Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions and goals based on outcomes and team input
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide staff education, and consult with teachers to support student success in classroom environments
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services in accordance with regulatory requirements
