Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in the state of Nevada
• Experience working with students in school settings is highly desirable
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to developmental stages from early elementary through high school
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Passion for helping young people reach their potential, regardless of challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine individual student needs and strengths
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services based on student goals
• Monitor and report progress, maintaining thorough records
• Provide guidance to staff and families regarding suitable accommodations and strategies
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all students are encouraged to succeed
