Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in California
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation processes
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet student and program needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions within the educational environment
• Support students in building skills for daily classroom activities, fine and gross motor coordination, and sensory integration
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear reports and recommendations
• Educate and collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to ensure strategies are carried over
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting goals and interventions as needed
• Promote access and participation for students with diverse learning needs
• Adhere to school and state compliance standards, maintaining accurate records
