Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Alaska
• Previous experience or strong understanding of school-based OT practices
• Skillful at developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Ability to work with diverse student populations, tailoring interventions to unique needs
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities when collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents
• Proficiency in documentation and progress monitoring

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K12 students within both onsite and virtual settings
• Assess students functional abilities and collaborate on IEP teams
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to support educational engagement and participation
• Maintain regular progress notes and contribute to ongoing evaluations
• Educate and support staff and families through consultative services
• Adapt strategies and interventions as student needs evolve
