Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license for the state or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with children, families, and faculty
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to student care
• Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for students referred through the special education process
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing fine motor, sensory, and developmental needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students goals across school environments
• Participate in IEP meetings to contribute expertise and track student progress
• Provide consultative services and effective training for staff and parents as needed
• Maintain timely documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and professional standards
