Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapist license required
  • Experience in school-based OT, home health OT, healthcare OT, or teletherapy encouraged
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and related documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
  • Proficiency with digital tools and teletherapy platforms a plus
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and compassionate approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine strengths, challenges, and therapy requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to deliver effective therapy services
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized intervention plans supporting educational outcomes
  • Conduct both in-person and remote (teletherapy) sessions as needed
  • Maintain thorough, timely records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer training and resources to staff and families on best OT practices
  • Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment through tailored support strategies
