Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience in school-based OT, home health OT, healthcare OT, or teletherapy encouraged
- Familiarity with IEP processes and related documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
- Proficiency with digital tools and teletherapy platforms a plus
- Team-oriented, flexible, and compassionate approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine strengths, challenges, and therapy requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to deliver effective therapy services
- Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized intervention plans supporting educational outcomes
- Conduct both in-person and remote (teletherapy) sessions as needed
- Maintain thorough, timely records and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer training and resources to staff and families on best OT practices
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment through tailored support strategies
