Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Maryland
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify strengths and areas for improvement in motor skills, self-care, and classroom participation
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each students needs and learning goals
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and parents to ensure integrated support within the school setting
- Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expertise on OT services, recommendations, and modifications
- Share strategies and resources with teaching staff to promote accessibility and functional skill development across all educational environments
