Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Maryland
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify strengths and areas for improvement in motor skills, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each students needs and learning goals
  • Work closely with educators, administrators, and parents to ensure integrated support within the school setting
  • Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expertise on OT services, recommendations, and modifications
  • Share strategies and resources with teaching staff to promote accessibility and functional skill development across all educational environments
