Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade near Rockville, MD. As a Speech Language Pathologist, youll work with a diverse caseload of 25 students, embracing a wide range of abilities and needs. This role spans the 2025-2026 school year, beginning in mid-August and concluding at the end of May. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and specialized teams, providing vital support through a variety of delivery modelsincluding onsite, teletherapy, and home health settings. Leverage your skills to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that foster growth in communication and academic achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland SLP License required
  • Experience working in school settings (K-12) strongly preferred
  • Comfortable supporting a caseload with a mixture of disabilities
  • Familiarity with teletherapy, home health, and healthcare OT models a plus
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for assigned students
  • Develop and document individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and collaborate with teachers and families
  • Adapt services to best meet each students unique needs across various settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of progress and interventions
