Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and active Maryland SLP license is required
- Expertise in school-based therapy, as well as knowledge in home health, healthcare, and teletherapy settings
- Experience or strong interest in serving a mixture of disabilities among K-12 students
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other support staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy to students in alignment with IEP goals
- Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to the development of each students education plan
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote student growth and address unique learning needs
- Engage parents and educators in the therapeutic process and offer actionable strategies for student success
