Job Description

This full-time position offers a unique chance to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services across a variety of settingsincluding in-person at school, with potential for home health and teletherapy elements. The assignment follows an 11-month school schedule, giving you the ability to make a significant impact throughout the academic year.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Maryland
  • Experience in school-based, home health, healthcare, and/or teletherapy OT settings
  • Solid understanding of IEP implementation and documentation
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week), supporting students in a specialized educational setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Position not open to COTAs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students ages 6-21
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals
  • Provide direct and consultation services as part of an itinerant model with paid travel
  • Utilize district IEP systems with provided training and access to dedicated therapy spaces
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting to support student success
