Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working with students in Pre-K, elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12)
- Understanding of OT interventions tailored for a school-based environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Ability to manage caseloads across diverse age groups
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to meet students educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support learning and participation
- Document sessions, progress, and comply with school and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Educate and train staff and caregivers in strategies to foster developmental growth
