Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state OT licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working with early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school students is preferred
  • Competence in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Ability to adapt your therapeutic approach to children and adolescents of different ages and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students from Pre-K through Grade 12
  • Complete assessments, craft treatment plans, and regularly monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and families to support students needs and integrate OT strategies into the classroom
  • Contribute to IEP development, documentation, and meetings as required
  • Deliver engaging therapy interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence in school routines
  • Maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines and timelines
