This full-time opportunity provides you with the chance to deliver essential direct and indirect OT services, complete evaluations, and support students IEP goals. Youll use your expertise in school-based practice, teletherapy, home health, and general healthcare OT in a supportive environment designed to foster both student and professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois SSW License
- Experience delivering Occupational Therapy in school settings
- Skills in IEPs, evaluations, and both direct and indirect OT interventions
- Background in teletherapy, home health, or broader healthcare OT is highly valued
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services onsite, including direct interventions and consultative (indirect) support
- Complete thorough evaluations and contribute to the development of IEPs for diverse student populations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to advance students participation and success in the school environment
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to ensure holistic support
