Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Washington
- Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program
- Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varying learning needs and environments
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support students educational outcomes
- Provide training and resources to school staff as needed to support student development
