Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Washington
  • Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program
  • Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying learning needs and environments
  • Knowledge of IEP process and documentation preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students functional abilities and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support students educational outcomes
  • Provide training and resources to school staff as needed to support student development
