Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure for Washington state
  • Experience working with students across Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and goal-setting
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions based on student needs
  • Adaptable and organized, with the capacity to manage a flexible caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies
  • Deliver therapeutic sessions for students across various grade levels, incorporating evidence-based techniques
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support students individualized goals and ensure their success in the educational environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and document progress, providing clear updates and recommendations
  • Offer staff training and guidance to foster an inclusive, supportive learning setting
  • Adjust interventions to reflect each students evolving needs in the classroom
