Make a significant impact on students lives as a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year, working with a supportive educational community near Seattle, WA. This is an in-person, full-time contract position, requiring expertise in school-based occupational therapy. Workdays are 7.5 hours, and there are multiple openings available. Grade bands for your caseload will be determined based on experience and student needs, offering you the opportunity to utilize your skills where theyre most impactful.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Washington state OT license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Current fingerprint clearance through OSPI
- Experience in a school setting, providing OT services to a range of grade levels
- Strong collaboration skills and adaptability to different caseload needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, addressing IEP goals and educational objectives
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to plan and monitor student progress
- Create and implement student-centered intervention plans to support participation in educational activities
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with state and district guidelines
- Provide input for IEP meetings and assist with evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
