Step into a dynamic, contract-based opportunity for experienced Occupational Therapists passionate about serving K-12 students with moderate to high support needs. Located in vibrant Seattle, WA, this full-time assignment runs from early September through mid-December 2026, offering a rewarding school-based setting. Two roles are available: one serving a single school in Central Seattle, and the other supporting multiple campuses across central, southwest, and southeast neighborhoods. Engage in hands-on, collaborative work within inclusive educational environmentsmaking a direct, positive impact on students development and learning.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Washington State
- Valid ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Previous experience as a school-based OT or in pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and therapy session planning
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
- Commitment to serving students with moderate to high support needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students per IEP requirements
- Provide both direct and consultative interventions to address fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students therapy goals are met within the school environment
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as needed
- Travel between assigned campuses (for multi-site role)
