Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in an educational setting near Scottsdale, AZ. This onsite contract role runs from ASAP through December, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. Youll work closely with students impacted by Autism, making a daily difference in their academic and personal growth.

Your expertise will empower young learners to overcome challenges and achieve greater independence within the school environment. Collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families will be essential as you design and implement creative, individualized intervention plans.

What were looking for:

• Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Background in school-based OT or working with pediatric clients
• Experience or enthusiasm for working with children on the Autism spectrum
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments to identify students occupational therapy needs
• Developing and implementing individualized and group therapy plans
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate and timely records of assessments, goals, and intervention outcomes
• Providing resources, strategies, and training for school staff and family members
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goal planning for students
