Make a difference in the lives of young learners by supporting students from PreK through 8th grade in a dynamic educational setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for working in schools and helping children reach their full potential.
Your expertise will provide a meaningful impact as you collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to address each students unique needs. In this contract role, youll enjoy consistency with a Monday through Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support a diverse student population across PreK8th grade
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored therapy plans to support student IEP goals
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services in group and individual settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Foster independence and developmental growth in students through adaptive techniques and interventions
