Job Description

This onsite position in Scottsdale, AZ offers a rewarding opportunity for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school settings. As an Occupational Therapist servicing students impacted by Autism, you will provide essential support and interventions throughout the 26/27 school year on a contract basis. The role requires working 37.5 hours per week and involves direct collaboration with students to enhance their functional abilities within the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with Autism
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students participation and success in school activities
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist license
  • IVP fingerprint card as required by the state
  • Experience delivering OT services in a school environment, preferably with caseloads impacted by Autism
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to work onsite within Scottsdale, AZ for the full duration of the 26/27 school year
