You'll work 37.5 hours per week, delivering tailored OT services to students with a range of needs.
Requirements and Preferred Background:
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card (required for school settings)
- Experience in school-based settings, home health, or healthcare OT highly valued
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Flexibility to adapt OT interventions to various academic and developmental needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct OT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-8 students
- Implement interventions within classrooms and designated OT settings
- Track student progress and adjust plans as needed
- Document all sessions, evaluations, and communications per school and state guidelines
- Provide ongoing support and education to school staff and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
