Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:15 AM3:15 PM
Hours: 23.5 hours/week
Setting: School-Based | Elementary
Caseload: Approximately 38 students

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a school-based team in Palatine, IL.

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work directly with elementary-aged students across General Education and specialized instructional programming.

Your Role

As the Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students throughout the school day.
  • Work with students across General Education and specialized programs.
  • Complete evaluations and assessments as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies.
  • Track student progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
  • Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student success.
  • Address functional, fine motor, sensory, and school-based occupational therapy needs.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to students' educational plans.

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois OT License required
  • Pediatric, school-based, or related experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for supporting students and helping them reach their potential.
