Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
  • Solid foundation in OT healthcare principles and school-based best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a varied student caseload and adapt therapy plans as needed
  • Reliability and commitment to providing in-person service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans to address student needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and staff to establish and monitor student goals
  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies to promote student learning and independence
