An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in school settings. This role is based onsite in Santa Ana, CA, within a vibrant K-12 environment. The position involves delivering comprehensive OT services to students, supporting their developmental and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grades
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, plan, implement, and document therapy interventions to enhance student participation and learning
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing school-based therapy services
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and related therapy requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload effectively
