Make a positive difference in students lives by providing occupational therapy services across K-12th grade in a supportive educational environment near San Tan Valley, AZ. This dynamic contract to hire opportunity focuses on promoting students success and independence through tailored therapy, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students.
Your background in school-based, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy occupational therapy will be valuable as you collaborate with educators and families to support each childs development. Youll work on a full-time schedule (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday), building continuity with your students and multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active, current Arizona OT license
- Previous experience in school, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings is a plus
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative school team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience with K-12 caseloads or pediatric populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Support successful inclusion, sensory regulation, and fine motor development in the classroom setting
- Participate in assessments and progress meetings
- Adapt and modify activities as needed to maximize student engagement and goal achievement
