Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Credentialed Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatric settings
- Strong knowledge of fine and gross motor development for early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions across a range of grade levels, including Pre-K, elementary (K-5), and middle school
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation for school-based therapy
- Effective communicator with students, parents, and educators, fostering positive relationships
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in grades Pre-K through middle school
- Assess students needs, set collaboration goals, and develop customized therapy plans
- Support sensory regulation, self-care skills, handwriting, and classroom participation
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to facilitate student success across environments
- Contribute to IEP meetings with clear, actionable therapeutic recommendations
- Document sessions, progress, and maintain compliance with all school-based therapy standards
