This role serves two school sites near San Mateo, CA, offering positions at both part-time (.5 FTE) and full-time (1.0 FTE) levels for experienced Occupational Therapists. Enjoy the flexibility of an itinerant schedule with paid travel, allowing you to build connections across multiple settings while making a difference in each.
What youll bring:
- Valid California OT license
- Experience working in schools or with school-aged children, preferably in OT
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and processes
- Ability to travel between two assigned school sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to varying schedules and caseloads
- Commitment to student growth and well-being
What youll do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess students needs and document progress
- Participate in team meetings, with admin/indirect time included
- Provide therapy in spaces dedicated for this purpose
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain thorough records and case notes
- Contribute to an inclusive, supportive school environment
