Job Description
Make a positive difference in students lives while working onsite as an Occupational Therapist supporting PreK-8th grade in a vibrant school setting near San Luis, AZ. This full-time contract position offers the chance to deliver hands-on services to a diverse caseload, helping students gain essential life and learning skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid AZ Occupational Therapist License
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Experience or interest in working with school-aged children across various grade levels (PreK-8th strongly preferred)
- Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, staff, and caregivers
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individualized student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services as outlined in students IEPs
- Assess students using standardized and functional evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Document progress and maintain records according to school and state guidelines
- Offer support and education to teachers and families regarding student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress updates
- Travel onsite as needed to support students across assigned campus locations
