Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong skills in assessing and developing both fine and gross motor skills
  • Comfortable working with early childhood, elementary, and middle school populations (Pre K- Grade 8)
  • Able to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other therapists
  • Organized, adaptable, and dedicated to student growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans targeting students motor skill needs
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions for children in general and special education
  • Collaborate with educators to incorporate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Document progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team strategies
  • Advocate for accessible, equitable learning environments for all students
