Job Description
Make a real difference serving students across San Francisco as a contract Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. Help learners in a variety of school settings access their education by providing essential assessments, interventions, and support. This exciting opportunity covers multiple school sites (K-12) and requires travel within San Francisco, allowing you to bring your skills where theyre needed most.
Qualifications:
- Current California Occupational Therapist License (required)
- Experience in a school-based setting, preferably with K-12 students
- Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload across multiple sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, students, and families
- Comfortable adapting to varied environments and travel within San Francisco
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services onsite across assigned schools within a geographic area
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and IEP development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with district and professional requirements
- Participate in meetings, share expertise, and assist in promoting occupational therapy awareness within the school community
Enjoy a supportive contract role during the entire school year, from August 11, 2026, through June 2, 2027, working a consistent 37.5 hours per weekall while positively impacting the educational journeys of San Franciscos children.
