A contracted occupational therapist position is available at a school located in San Diego, CA. This role involves working directly with students to support their developmental progress and enhance their ability to participate fully in educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students physical, sensory, and cognitive needs to develop tailored therapy plans.
• Implement interventions to improve student performance in school activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation of therapy sessions and student progress reports.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development when applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in California.
• Experience working as an occupational therapist in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education services.
