An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support elementary school students in a dynamic school setting located in San Diego, CA. This contract position for the current school year offers the chance to contribute to the educational development and well-being of young learners by providing specialized OT services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective therapy plans.
• Assess student needs, monitor progress, and document outcomes.
• Adapt interventions to support students academic success and functional independence within the school environment.
• Participate in meetings and contribute professional expertise to enhance student support strategies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
• Knowledge of pediatric OT practices and ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school personnel and families.
• Familiarity with educational regulations and IEP processes.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
