Key Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Experience providing OT services in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population across K-12th grades
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and managing caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students physical, cognitive, and sensory needs as related to functional school performance
- Develop and implement individualized OT interventions and treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to support students educational goals
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and update documentation as required
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams, and educate school staff on OT strategies
- Deliver therapy sessions in both group and individual formats in accordance with established schedules
