Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric environment, preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices for student evaluation and intervention
- Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 caseload
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to fostering student independence and academic participation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across various grade levels (K-12)
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and help develop IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive strategies
- Provide direct intervention and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP and team meetings
- Educate staff and parents about strategies to support student success
