Make an impact as a long-term substitute Occupational Therapist, supporting elementary students in a vibrant educational setting near Saint Paul, MN. This full-time contract role begins August 24, 2026, and extends through February 28, 2027, aligning with the school calendar. Youll collaborate within a committed multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering growth and independence for students with disabilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license (Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice)
• Bachelors degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Background working with children or students with disabilities
• Strong skills in communication, teamwork, and organization
• Familiarity with Assistive Technology tools is a plus
• Capacity to function collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations (formal and informal) to identify student needs
• Develop and carry out individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives
• Deliver both direct and consultative OT services to students
• Track student progress and modify interventions as needed
• Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
• Maintain compliance with documentation and records
• Participate in IEP, parent, and multidisciplinary meetings
• Act as a resource for Assistive Technology evaluations and integration
• Enhance student access to the curriculum and school activities through targeted interventions
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
