Make an impact as a long-term substitute Occupational Therapist, supporting elementary students in a vibrant educational setting near Saint Paul, MN. This full-time contract role begins August 24, 2026, and extends through February 28, 2027, aligning with the school calendar. Youll collaborate within a committed multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering growth and independence for students with disabilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license (Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice)
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Background working with children or students with disabilities
- Strong skills in communication, teamwork, and organization
- Familiarity with Assistive Technology tools is a plus
- Capacity to function collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations (formal and informal) to identify student needs
- Develop and carry out individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives
- Deliver both direct and consultative OT services to students
- Track student progress and modify interventions as needed
- Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
- Maintain compliance with documentation and records
- Participate in IEP, parent, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Act as a resource for Assistive Technology evaluations and integration
- Enhance student access to the curriculum and school activities through targeted interventions
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.50 to $61.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
