Job Description

Put your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to work and make a positive impact on students lives this school year! We are seeking three dedicated OTs for contract roles, including two full-time positions and one long-term substitute (covering for the first few months, with dates to be determined). This opportunity runs from September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a manageable weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.

You will work with a diverse caseload of 2040 students in a single building, providing essential support in a setting 4 environment. With your choice of assignment at one of several education centers, youll be empowered to make a meaningful difference every day.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • License to practice Occupational Therapy in Minnesota (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Direct experience supporting children or young adults in school or similar settings
  • Knowledge of evidence-based OT interventions, particularly for students requiring higher levels of support
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working alongside educators, families, and other service providers
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet individual student needs
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct OT services and consultative support to students with a range of needs
  • Assess student abilities and develop targeted therapy plans
  • Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate proactively with multidisciplinary teams across campus
  • Use creativity to engage students in meaningful, goal-oriented activities
