Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Based Virtual Occupational Therapist. In this role, youll harness your expertise to make a difference through teletherapy, collaborating with educators and families while providing essential interventions and support to students. Leverage your Minnesota OT License to create engaging, individualized programs that help students reach their full potentialall from the comfort of a remote work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in Minnesota
- Experience with school-based OT services, teletherapy platforms, and documentation
- Previous work with diverse student populations, including K-12
- Skilled in adapting OT strategies for virtual delivery and remote assessment
- Excellent communication, organization, and technology skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, virtual OT services to K-12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions using secure teletherapy tools
- Consult regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure coordinated care and optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support and empower students to develop functional skills necessary for academic success and daily living
Position Details:
- Contract position from September 1, 2026, through October 30, 2026, with potential for extension
- Full-time hours: 37.5 per week, 5 days weekly
- Serve a breadth of grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade
