Job Description

Make a meaningful difference as an Occupational Therapist working with students in grades K-12 during the upcoming 26/27 school year. This rewarding contract opportunity is available for full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time (32 hours) schedules. Youll support students development and independence through evidence-based therapy in a collaborative educational setting.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license
  • Experience supporting students in school-based settings (preferred)
  • Understanding of OT practices within educational environments
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with educators, families, and caregivers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and deliver intervention plans tailored for academic and functional success
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for a holistic approach
  • Provide consultation and resources for accommodations or classroom modifications
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and district guidelines
