Desired Qualifications:

• Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist in California
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but open to candidates with strong pediatric backgrounds
• Knowledgeable in individualized education programs (IEP) processes
• Strong assessment, documentation, and therapy planning skills
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
• Adaptable and creative when addressing diverse student needs
• Ability to manage a flexible caseload and travel between sites as necessary

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to determine students functional abilities and needs within the school environment
• Develop and implement goals and therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, fostering participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to modify materials and the educational environment for student success
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Offer training and resources for staff to support students occupational growth
