As an OT, you will collaborate with educators and staff, conduct evaluations, and support student progress with flexible, focused scheduling.

What Youll Bring:

  • Active Louisiana Occupational Therapist (OT) License
  • Experience or interest in school-based occupational therapy
  • Willingness to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel between school sites as needed
  • Motivated to provide quality therapy and evaluations for PreK-12 students

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services at four school sites
  • Schedule services primarily on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; PreK evaluations on Fridays
  • Complete assessments, documentation, and individualized treatment plans
  • Supervise and mentor a COTA, ensuring compliance and quality care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and participation
  • Utilize both in-person and virtual service delivery (as needed) during the onboarding phase
