Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a school setting with an exclusive contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This full-time assignment is scheduled for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students across K-12 in a supportive, onsite-only environment. The specific caseload and grades will be determined prior to the start date, allowing for a tailored placement to best match your expertise and interests.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois OT or COTA license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT/COTA role is preferred
  • Comfort working with students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with teachers, staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, individualized occupational therapy services
  • Availability to participate in New Hire Orientation from August 12th to August 14th

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions and evaluations to K-12 students based on each individual needs and IEPs
  • Collaborate with related service professionals and educational teams to design and adjust intervention strategies
  • Document progress, maintain accurate and timely records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Support students in developing essential skills for academic and daily living success
  • Provide consultation and training for staff and families regarding student programming
