An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide essential services in a school setting located in Rosenberg, TX, serving the Houston area. This full-time, contract position runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, offering the chance to work with students aged 3 to 21 across multiple schools within an assigned zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students aged 3 to 21
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student needs
- Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas OT licensure is required
- Experience in school-based OT services preferred
- Open to highly qualified COTAs with multiple years of relevant experience
- Must be able to complete fingerprinting for district credentialing requirements (may already be on file)
- Former employees of the district are not eligible for this role
Work Details:
- Full-time schedule, approximately 35 hours per week
- Assignments distributed within a specific geographic zone for efficient travel
